Let’s face it we are all busy people that want to have healthy meals that are affordable and quick to make so we can spend more time having fun with friends or family or just by yourself as well as saving for that trip away or next gadget.
Here are my tips:
I buy 2 packs of Turkey mince from Coles for $10.
2 bags of frozen veges (corn, peas and capsicum) or whatever is on sale worth $1.40 each.
Bags of basmati rice that can cook in tnt microwave - whatever ones are on sale.
1 cooked organic chicken from Coles $10
Steak value pack - $15
2 lots of cage free eggs - 10
1 big size bag of spinach or whatever salads mix you like - $3
1 bag of apples to have a snack.
I don’t normally buy bars but weight watchers was $3 on special for a box and low carb so added those.
I also bought Baby Apple puree $1 a jar to put on Muslie if I crave sweets.
Coles branded oats for $1.40
Easy to fry turkey mince, steak and frozen veges in coconut oil and microwave rice. Meals are done!
Healthy can be done on the cheap. Frozen veges are frozen fresh so they are actually a good thing to have in the pantry. Eggs and spinach I always have to make omelettes and add in leftover chicken.
